Our Gas Technician 1 course is currently being offered in two parts: this course (Gas Technician 1 Theory) and our HVAC 9072 Gas Technician 1 Practical course. You must complete both parts at George Brown Polytechnic to qualify to write the EX 03 TSSA Gas Technician 1 Exam.
Our Gas Technician 1 Theory course complies with the theoretical education portion of the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) training curriculum for the Gas Technician 1 (G.1) certification and includes modules 26 through 32.
Prerequisites
You must have 4,000 hours of relevant experience as a G.2-licensed gas technician with 500 supervised hours working on inputs over 400,000 BTUH. You must present proof in the form of detailed documentation. If you have not met the prerequisite requirement by the first class, you will be withdrawn from the course.
