Our Communication, Negotiation, and Conflict Resolution for Construction Trades course is designed for supervisors, project managers, and construction professionals who need to communicate and collaborate effectively with employees, employers, owners, clients, subcontractors, engineers, and other project stakeholders. Develop practical skills in communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution, including identifying the stages of a conflict, applying assertive communication techniques, managing difficult situations, and negotiating effectively. Focus on real-world applications and immediate workplace impacts, including the appropriate use of power in negotiations and how to recognize when to close discussions.
This course is offered by George Brown Polytechnic Continuing Education in partnership with the Canadian Construction Association (CCA) and BuildForce Canada. It has been recognized by the CCA as Gold Seal accredited training with CCA credit value.
