
Clinical Consolidation or Preceptorship NURS 9215
Our Clinical Consolidation or Preceptorship course is based in a health care organization and provides you with the opportunity to synthesize prior learning. Practice planning and delivering care to patients from across the life span who are experiencing acute and chronic illness and their families. Focus on developing advanced communication, leadership, and collaboration skills using an integrated interprofessional education (IPE) immersion approach in order to achieve increased independence when delivering patient and family care.
Prerequisites
You must have completed our NURS 9222 Advanced Clinical Practice Skills course, or NURS 9214 Clinical Practice Experience Clinical Practice Experience, as well as and any other prerequisite courses listed in your personal academic plan. You must have completed the relevant Placement Pass health form and all required testing (organized through the Clinical Pre-Placement Office) and you must have sent the Placement Pass health form (along with all required documentation) to ParaMed. Once you have been cleared, ParaMed will send a formal report directly to Continuing Education.
